Nongshim RedForce secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over BNK FEARX in the EWC qualifiers held online on the 19th.

Following the trade of 'Taeyoon' and 'Diable', BFX defeated Nongshim 2-0 in their LCK matchup on the 16th, a game marked by 'Taeyoon's' celebration and a fiery post-match interview. Nongshim, having struggled recently, successfully exacted revenge today by defeating and eliminating BFX from the EWC qualifiers.

In Game 1, Nongshim seized early control as 'Sponge's' Lee Sin put on a stellar performance, racking up four kills. Although BFX was slightly behind, 'Raptor's' Naafiri secured multiple kills in skirmishes, and the team made a key play by stealing the Rift Herald from Lee Sin at the last moment.

BFX then took down Rumble in the mid lane and destroyed the first mid turret. Nongshim attempted a risky dive against K'Sante in the top lane, but BFX countered effectively, picking up multiple kills and turning the gold lead in their favor. From that point on, BFX dominated. A shaken Nongshim failed to regain their footing and continued to fall to BFX's pressure.

BFX snowballed through skirmishes and objective control, taking Baron with ease. However, while defending, Nongshim quickly caught 'VicLa's' Cassiopeia and 'Taeyoon's' Ezreal in the top lane. Through this fight, 'Diable's' Xayah grew significantly. After securing a dragon, Nongshim initiated a teamfight in the mid lane, wiping out BFX and scoring an Ace.

In the mid lane, Nongshim forced BFX to burn their major ultimates before heading to Baron. After taking Baron, a teamfight broke out where BFX displayed fantastic coordination to trade 4-for-4. BFX then quickly moved to take the Dragon Soul, won the subsequent fight in front of Baron, and secured the Elder Dragon, eventually winning the 47-minute marathon.

In Game 2, a mid-jungle skirmish broke out early, leading to a trade of kills. As chaotic fights continued across all lanes, BFX's 'Raptor' grew on Wukong, while Nongshim's Ryze and Corki remained strong. In a slightly disadvantageous situation, 'Scout's' Ryze made a super play to take down Wukong and collect the shutdown gold.

Shortly after, BFX's 'VicLa' used Taliyah's ultimate effectively to catch 'Diable's' Corki, gaining a significant advantage in the mid lane. However, Nongshim's Ryze continued to perform, creating variables in skirmishes to tie the series 1-1.

In the final third game, Nongshim focused on 'Scout's' Azir, with early mid-jungle synergy helping Azir secure two kills. Nongshim also found success in the bottom lane. Although BFX's 'Raptor' rotated to the bottom lane on Trundle to pick up two kills, Pantheon also made an impact by taking down 'Kael's' Yuumi.

Nongshim maintained their focus and kept the momentum going. With 'Scout's' Azir at the center, Nongshim held a 4k gold lead by the 17-minute mark. BFX attempted some desperate plays to overcome the deficit, but Nongshim handled them well and further widened the gap.

BFX struggled as 'VicLa's' Annie fell to four deaths. In a mid-lane teamfight at 23 minutes, 'Diable's' Ashe recorded a pentakill. After winning the teamfight and taking Baron, Nongshim marched in to destroy BFX's Nexus and secure the series.

Meanwhile, in the other match, Hanwha Life Esports defeated HanJin Brion 2-0 and is scheduled to face Nongshim on the 25th.
