Insane Jett Tailwind boosting technique discovered in VALORANT

In the wild west of the VALORANT beta, gamers have seen plenty of entertaining glitches. Today, Reddit user Scupo shared a technique that added to that collection, only it is unsure whether or not this technique in question is a clever use of game mechanics or a bug soon to be squashed.

The technique is fairly simple. If teammates time it just right, they can jump on the head of Jett the moment she uses Tailwind in any given direction. The said teammate then receives an incredible burst of speed, allowing them the ability to cover incredible distances extremely quickly.

Take a look at it your self and bask in the glory that is VALORANT beta.

Exploit or Feature?

Upon first glance, it is easy to assume that this is a clear glitch that was never intended to exist within VALORANT. Jett's Tailwind ability is not intended to launch other players across an area at breakneck speeds. However, the situation complicates itself a bit once you consider that VALORANT developers have been open about their hesitancy to remove techniques in the game that, while aren't necessarily intended, are just clever use of properly working game mechanics.

The technique seems to take advantage of precise jumps and movement that allow players to collide with Jett at the precise moment Tailwind launches her forward. Since it is working as intended to be able to step on peoples heads, this doesn't really look like a glitch -- just a really hilarious method of using Tailwind

Until this most recent discovery, the Cypher Gun Turret glitch has been among the most memorable. However, that was quickly patched out and for good reason. This technique, however, is much flashier and harder to execute. Who wouldn't want to fly through the air, shotgun in hand blasting away at enemies?

Do you think this technique should stay in VALORANT? Let us know in the comment section below!
