Nexon announced on the 8th that it is partnering with Naver to launch integrated content between its authentic online soccer game, EA SPORTS FC Online (hereinafter FC Online), and the streaming platform Chzzk. Ahead of major global soccer events, the collaboration aims to provide a seamless content experience that bridges live streaming and gameplay.

Starting at 10:00 AM on June 12, viewers watching soccer, FC Online, or FC Mobile category broadcasts on Chzzk via desktop will be able to play three FC Online-based minigames directly within the streaming interface. These minigames, which feature core gameplay mechanics such as the Finesse Shot Challenge and Free Kick Challenge, allow users to watch broadcasts and participate in games on a single screen. Players who clear all the minigames will receive an FC Online or FC Mobile coupon code in their Npay Inventory, which can be redeemed in-game for rewards.

Furthermore, by leveraging user data from both Nexon and Naver, the platform will display personalized Nexon game content to viewers within the Chzzk interface. These customized banners, based on user interests or gameplay history, are designed to facilitate a smooth transition from watching streams to logging into the game.

This project is part of an ongoing strategic partnership between Nexon and Naver. The two companies are gradually expanding their collaboration, ranging from the integration of user data and support for game-related broadcasting to the linking of streaming platforms with game content. With the current season drawing intense interest from sports fans, the companies aim to create a new viewing culture where soccer fandom and gaming intersect.

Bae Jun-young, director of Nexon's Platform Division, stated that this collaboration is an attempt to combine the experience of playing games with the experience of watching them, leveraging the content and platform strengths of both companies. He added that, building on the cooperation Nexon and Naver have developed—from account linking to content integration—they intend to create an environment where users' daily lives and gaming are seamlessly connected.
