Netmarble has rolled out a new themed update for its hit mobile role-playing game MARVEL Future Fight, drawing inspiration from Marvel Studios’ latest film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Players can now unlock four character uniforms—Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing and Human Torch—modeled on the cinematic designs.
The Thing receives a Tier-4 advancement option along with an all-new striker ability, boosting his battlefield resilience. Additionally, characters Crystal, Maximus and Karnak gain access to awakened skills through the game’s Potential Awakening and Transcending systems, offering fresh avenues for team customization.
The update also resurrects Thanos as the World Boss: Legend+ challenge. This iteration of the Mad Titan features enhanced attack patterns and is supported by members of the Black Order, creating a formidable encounter. Completing the boss at various difficulty levels grants players first-clear rewards, with higher tiers unlocking exclusive items such as Thanos’ artifact and emblem.
Story content expands in the Timeline Quest, where a new chapter echoes themes from The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This narrative-driven mission set introduces mission objectives tied to film-inspired scenarios. To support competitive play, the update adds the C.T.P. of Competition cards, designed to bolster characters’ Instinct stats during boss fights. The Reforging system has also been enhanced, enabling gear upgrades to “Mighty” or “Brilliant” versions for improved performance. Since its launch, MARVEL Future Fight has amassed more than 170 million downloads worldwide. The game is available on the App Store and Google Play, with the update now live for all players.
