UPDATE 12/2: FlyQuest has announced the signing of top laner Colin "Kumo" Zhao. Kumo, who split time in 2020 between Evil Geniuses and EG Academy, will be the starting top laner for FLY Academy heading into 2021.

Solo found himself in the unfortunate position of going teamless in the 2019 off-season after a rough ending to his time on Echo Fox. But halfway through the 2020 Spring Split, FlyQuest picked him up as an assistant coach, a new role for the top laner. However, he soon transitioned into a substitute for V1per, and is now helping the team on the Rift as they fight their way through playoffs. Watch our video interview here:

Colin “Solo” Earnest, Apollo “Apollo” Price, and Nickolas “Hakuho” Surgent will be joining Echo Fox as their top, AD Carry, and support respectively. On December 5th, Echo Fox announced on their official Twitter that Solo, Apollo, and Hakuho will be joining the team. All three players have been a part of the League of Legends esports scene for a long time. Apollo, who has been in LoL esports the longest, began his pro gaming career in 2013 with Team Summon back when he went by the name of WizFujiiN. He played for several different teams, including Team Impulse, Team Dignitas, Team EnVyUs, and Clutch Gaming. It was with Team Impulse where he renamed himself to Apollo, using his first name. He has managed to get moderate results during his stay with these teams, placing 4th in the 2018 NA Regional Finals.
