Sol: Enchantment (hereinafter Sol) released an update on July 29 (Wed) featuring the Tower of God 3F and new PK penalties. The patch also includes changes to Nine Core crafting limits and an increase in required EXP. Let’s take a look at the changes and new quality-of-life improvements introduced in this patch.
New Top-Tier Hunting Grounds: Tower of God 3F
The first highlight of this patch is the release of the Tower of God 3F. Originally planned as world content, the 3F has been released as a new hunting ground for top-tier Inheritors. It offers significantly more EXP and higher-tier items compared to existing hunting grounds. Players can also defeat the new boss, 'Fake of Pride,' to obtain the Legend grade accessory, 'Fake's Ring.'
To enter the Tower of God 3F, players must use a 'Tower of God 3F Teleport Scroll' dropped by monsters on the 2F and 3F, or craft a 3F Teleport Stone using a Sealed Dungeon Teleport Stone dropped by the 3F boss. It is expected that many Inheritors will flock to the 2F to farm the 3F Teleport Scrolls, which will likely be expensive early on, naturally increasing the demand for 2F Teleport Scrolls dropped on the 1F.

Will 'Random PK' Decrease? Expanded Alignment Penalties
Following the developer note from last week, the restriction on NPC shop usage for 'Chaotic' (PK-oriented) Inheritors has been implemented. Additionally, the existing 10-stage 'Destruction' alignment has been expanded to 19 stages, adding a physical defense reduction penalty. Reaching stage 19 will now result in an additional 60% reduction in max HP.
Since players with a chaotic alignment can no longer use general goods merchants, skillbook merchants, or storage, reaching this state will impose significant gameplay restrictions. It remains to be seen whether this patch will reduce the number of Inheritors engaging in indiscriminate PK, often referred to as 'random PK.'

Nine Core Level Limit Expanded, EXP Requirement Doubled
The most discussed change in this update concerns the Nine Core. Previously, crafting was limited to 10 times per week for those level 45 and above, and unlimited for those level 50 and above. This has been adjusted: players level 45+ can now craft 3 times, level 50+ can craft 20 times, and unlimited crafting is now reserved for those level 52 and above.
Furthermore, the crafting recipe for Essence of Life, a material for the Nine Core, has been changed. The required EXP has been exactly doubled from 1m to 2m. Given the increased EXP burden and higher level requirements, this is expected to have a significant impact on the market price of Nine Cores.

Quality-of-Life Improvements
Various other quality-of-life improvements have been made. Manner Mode settings have been changed from account-wide to character-specific, and a feature has been added to view the full map of the current dungeon by tapping the mini-map.
Additionally, a 'Nearby' tab has been added to the party invitation pop-up, and the 'Guild' tab now prioritizes online guild members. When sorting items, identical stackable items will now automatically merge up to the maximum slot capacity.
Finally, the 'Temple of Experience' and 'Temple of Abundance'—which previously caused confusion as they were not clearly distinguished from event dungeons—have had their instant completion and entry count reset features removed. Consequently, the maximum daily entry count for both dungeons is now limited to once per day.
