Battlefield 6 kicks off Season 4 on July 21. This season features combat across a vast tropical island called 'Tsuru Reef' and includes an official collaboration with the iconic film 'Top Gun.'

The new map, 'Tsuru Reef,' is a Pacific island featuring steep cliffs, several smaller islets, a luxury resort, and the remnants of old war bunkers. New vehicles, the RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) and the CB90, will also be added, allowing players to traverse the coastline and quickly infiltrate enemy lines.

As for weapons, the season launch will introduce the EF88 assault rifle, which covers both close and long-range combat; the BREN3 carbine, a strong choice for mid-range engagements; and the VSSM, which features an integrated suppressor as its key strength.

The second update for Season 4 arrives on August 18, bringing back the fan-favorite map Wake Island. Players will witness two aircraft carriers clashing, which serves as the backdrop for the Top Gun collaboration.

The collaboration includes Top Gun-inspired equipment, characters, and modes, along with a revamped Carrier Assault mode tailored to the Top Gun aesthetic. The ultimate goal of Carrier Assault is to sink the enemy aircraft carrier to secure victory. In addition to the three previously mentioned weapons, the Desert HTI sniper rifle—boasting the longest range in the game—will be added to bolster firepower.

Beyond new content, Season 4 will implement community-requested improvements for both Battlefield 6 and the free-to-play battle royale mode, REDSEC. For instance, custom lobbies will be added, allowing players to enjoy the game on their own terms. In Portal, players will be able to form teams or squads on the screen before entering a lobby. Additionally, updates will include the ability to assign lobby administrator privileges and an updated spectator mode to support community tournaments.

Finally, the last update for Season 4 is scheduled for early September. Regarding the content of this final update, Executive Producer Philippe Ducharme stated, "We will share more details as the update approaches. Please stay tuned."
