NVIDIA is adding DLSS technology support to three new games: Forza Horizon 6, Luna Abyss, and Crimson Desert. The updates focus on enhancing performance and image quality for GeForce RTX users.

Developed by Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios, Forza Horizon 6 is an open-world racing game set in Japan featuring over 550 real-world vehicles. It includes single-player and co-op campaigns, EventLab, and Horizon Co-Lab content.
In terms of DLSS support, Forza Horizon 6 comes with DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS Multi-Frame Generation enabled by default. GeForce RTX 50 series users can further upgrade to the DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation 6X mode via the NVIDIA app. At 4K resolution, performance benchmarks show over 330 FPS for the RTX 5,090, over 230 FPS for the RTX 5,080, and over 200 FPS for the RTX 5070 Ti, while the RTX 5090 can reach 400 FPS at 2560x1440. At 1920x1080, the combination of DLSS Super Resolution and Multi-Frame Generation 4X mode delivers an average 3.8x frame rate increase, with the RTX 5090 hitting approximately 500 FPS and the RTX 5060 reaching 169 FPS on maximum settings. For laptop GPUs, performance reaches up to 230 FPS at 2560x1600, representing an average 3.9x improvement.
DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation automatically adjusts the frame generation multiplier based on GPU load. It increases the multiplier during high-load segments to compensate for performance drops and reduces it during low-load segments to optimize computational efficiency. The feature adjusts in real-time to match target frame rates or the display's maximum refresh rate and can be configured globally or per title in the 'Graphics' tab of the NVIDIA app. For Forza Horizon 6, users must set the frame generation model to 'Preset B' in the 'DLSS Override - Model Preset' menu.
Cavali's Luna Abyss is a single-player action-adventure game where players explore ruins inside the mimic satellite 'Luna' under the control of an AI warden named 'Aylin.' It supports DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA. Users can upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution via the NVIDIA app, and a pre-launch demo featuring DLSS was made available on Steam.
Pearl Abyss' Crimson Desert supported DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and 4X DLSS Multi-Frame Generation at its launch last March. A recent update has now integrated 6X DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation as a default feature. GeForce RTX 50 series users can maintain higher frame rates during high-load gameplay, while the frame generation multiplier automatically adjusts during less demanding scenes.
Meanwhile, 007: First Light, developed by IO Interactive and scheduled for release on May 27, will feature DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation at launch. Path Tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction are slated for addition in the summer of 2026.
