Polyarc announced on the 17th that it has officially released the puzzle platform adventure game 'Moss: The Forgotten Relics' for PC and console platforms.
'Moss: The Forgotten Relics' is a title that integrates the previously released 'Moss', 'Moss: Book II', and the 'Twilight Garden' DLC into a single, complete experience. This version features newly created cutscenes and a camera system tailored for its PC and console debut, along with modernized visuals and platform-specific optimizations.
The game utilizes a dual-perspective structure featuring the protagonist, a young mouse named 'Quill', and the player. Players must explore diorama-style worlds, uncover ancient secrets, and solve environmental puzzles. The game includes combat against arcane creatures, with accessibility settings that allow players to skip combat encounters. The orchestral soundtrack was composed by Jason Graves.
Supported platforms include Steam, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1, and Nintendo Switch 2. The Steam version is Steam Deck Verified and is available at a 10% discount during the launch period. Additionally, a Steam bundle including 'Stray', 'Mina the Hollower', and the official soundtrack is also available for purchase.
Developer Polyarc is an independent game studio based in Seattle, USA, founded in 2015. The studio holds over 160 awards and nominations from events including The Game Awards, the D.I.C.E. Awards, and the BAFTAs.
