Now Open: Fans can Vote for Their Overwatch League MVP


Overwatch League’s inaugural season may be far from over yet, with the fourth week of the third stage (out of four) kicking off tonight, but fans can already reflect at all players’ performances so far and cast their vote for who deserves to be the League’s very first Most Valuable Player

Here, you can take a look at more information, including - the most important part - how to vote: all you have to do is head over to Twitter and use the hashtag #OWLMVP with your selected player’s Twitter handle or BattleTag.

At the end, the fans’ votes will weight for 25% of the total ballot, with the rest being determined by the broadcasting team and analysts. To follow how the voting is going, fans can follow a daily leaderboard on the Overwatch League website. Right now, five Korean players sit at the top of the charts, led by Philadelphia Fusion’s Lee "Carpe" Jae-hyeok, followed by Bang "JJoNak" Sung-hyeon from the New York Excelsior, and with Kim "Fleta" Byung-sun at third, Kim "Libero" Hye-sung at fourth and closing the list at fifth place, Hwang "EFFECT" Hyeon.

Voting will take place until July 11, with the winner being revealed at the start of the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Week 4 of Stage 3 starts tonight with the best team in the league at the moment - the Boston Uprising - matching forces with a Shangai Dragons desperate for the first win, followed after by Los Angeles Valiant against Houston Outlaws and closing out the day, the Dallas Fuel face the Florida Mayhem in a duel of two teams desperate to escape the last positions.
