Muse will be performing live at BlizzCon 2017

The Grammy Award-winning band famous for tracks like Uprising, Resistance, and Starlight will close out the two day Blizzard party know as BlizzCon. Known for their dynamic vocal range and distinct sound, Muse was introduced to most gamers through Guitar Hero 3 and the song Knights of Cyndonia. The song was notoriously difficult but featured high fantasy lyrics detailing one hero prevailing against impossible odds that resonated with gamers, especially those into the fantasy genre.

Muse has a history of anthem songs and a bigger-than-life persona. Their song, Survival, became the theme song for the 2012 Olympic games and one listen tells the story why. Dramatic themes of survival and overcoming all odds are seasoned by a gothic choir belting out hauntingly epic vocals. These sounds are then lead by defiant guitar chords, marching the song towards its awe-inspiring crescendo.

It sounds like the RL soundtrack to a final boss fight.

Past BlizzCon shows have usually tried to capture the "epic" nature of the event and Blizzards high fantasy roots and fans should have high hopes for the type of show Muse will provide.

In the last 4 years of BlizzCon, end of the show performers have included "Weird Al" Yankovic, Linkin Park, Metallica and Blink 182. If you can't make it to BlizzCon in person, the BlizzCon 2017 Virtual Ticket is still available for purchase, allowing you to watch the show from the comfort of your home.
