Overwatch team C9, home team to London, will be having 6 Korean players fill their roster

 

Overwatch C9, the London team, has started to gather Korean players for their roster.


C9 has begun to look for Korean players for their team rebuild, starting from August 13th, and will be accepting applications until 4 AM, August 19th (PDT). They are accepting applications for all positions, and the 6 Korean players that are chosen will be registered as C9’s main roster.


C9 has made a deal with London and finalized their participation in the Overwatch League, and has been gathering much attention from Overwatch fans regarding how they are looking to fill their roster with Korean players even though they are the team for London.


The Overwatch League will be opening this year, and the official player contract for the first season starts from August 1st, 2017 to October 30th. Players will be guaranteed at least a 5 million dollar wage a year, and at least 50% of the prize money won at the Playoffs or other League events, or team profit bonuses will be allocated among the team members.
