Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced on the 23rd that it has launched the official global teaser site for its upcoming title, 'Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Ultimate Species' (developed by Netmarble Nexus).

The global teaser site features the latest promotional video and links to various social media channels. Notably, the YouTube channel shares insights into the production process and behind-the-scenes stories through developer letters; in the recently released second episode, PD Kim Kyung-ryul discussed the game's 'originality in connection with the source material.' Additionally, the company plans to release key information and the latest news sequentially via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Meanwhile, Netmarble will showcase 'Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi' at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo from September 17 to 21. The company will host a booth at Hall 2, A01, where it will offer the first-ever hands-on demo of the game, and it plans to release the event program sequentially through a dedicated Tokyo Game Show webpage.

The original 'Shangri-La Frontier' is an IP based on a web novel of the same name that has surpassed 1 billion cumulative views. It follows the adventures of a high school student who usually only plays unpopular games as he takes on 'Shangri-La Frontier,' a game widely considered to be the best of its kind.

'Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Ultimate Species,' currently under development at Netmarble Nexus, faithfully reflects the world of the original IP. The core gameplay involves exploring the game world, meeting various allies and NPCs, and hunting the unique and powerful monsters from the original story. It is being developed as a two-character tag-team combat game that can be easily enjoyed with one hand, allowing players to experience a variety of strategies.
