Seoul-based indie game developer KUP Studio announced that its desktop companion game 'PomoTrain: Rabbit Town,' which combines a Pomodoro focus timer with a charming rabbit village, is participating in the Steam Train Fest 2026.

During the event, the game will be available at a 25% discount, alongside the release of the 'Summer Update v1.2.0,' which adds a summer night atmosphere. The Steam Train Fest is a themed event highlighting games featuring trains and railways, running from July 20 to July 27, 2026.

The centerpiece of the Summer Update v1.2.0 is the newly added seasonal effects system. Players can freely toggle and combine various effects in the background settings to customize their own rabbit village. Fireworks that randomly appear in the night sky feature individual volume controls, shooting stars streak across the sky in sync with the train's speed, and a warm sunlight lens flare can be activated in the weather settings. New visual effects are also applied to moments of growth, such as unlocking background buildings, expanding the station, and adding new train cars.

Three new rabbit residents, each with their own stories and dialogue, have joined the village. Additionally, new background music and ambient sounds—such as cat purring, gentle waves, and analog record noise—have been added to help create a focused environment. The audio system has been improved to ensure sounds transition naturally based on camera distance, and the overall volume balance has been adjusted. Various UI and functional bugs have also been fixed, including standardizing background encyclopedia UI slot sizes, updating localization text, synchronizing time display alignment with volume indicators, and resolving issues with overlapping sound effects during building placement.

'PomoTrain: Rabbit Town' is a productivity game that integrates the Pomodoro timer used for work and study with a cute train and rabbit village growth system. Time spent focusing by the player translates into coins and growth, and features such as Pomodoro logs, To-Do lists, calendars, timers, and stopwatches can all be managed on a single screen.

The game supports Windows and macOS and is available in eight languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
