Created through a collaboration between The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International, this new product line brings iconic elements of the Pokémon universe to life with LEGO bricks, ranging from Legendary Pokémon to Poké Balls. Notably, this marks the first time the 'LEGO Pokémon' series has included both a Pokémon Trainer minifigure and 'LEGO Pokémon' figures crafted with custom molds. Three sets are scheduled for release in August, followed by two more in October.

The first three sets, featuring popular Pokémon, will launch on August 1. 'LEGO Pokémon Rayquaza' consists of 1083 bricks and depicts the Dragon/Flying-type Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza along with its ozone layer habitat; it also includes a minifigure of the Hoenn region trainer, Zinnia.
'LEGO Pokémon Arcanine' realistically captures the Fire-type Pokémon in a dynamic running pose, complete with its signature lush mane and tail. 'LEGO Pokémon Munchlax (72150),' which features movable head and arms, reflects the character's love for food by including various accessories like fruits and snacks.
Two sets themed around the Pokémon Trainer's journey will be released on October 1. 'LEGO Pokémon Pokémon Trainer Journey: Poké Ball,' built from 2386 bricks, features a large, openable Poké Ball that houses a battle scene and Professor Oak's laboratory inside. It includes minifigures of Red (the protagonist of Pokémon Red and Green, not released in Korea), a Picnic Girl, and Professor Oak, along with Pikachu and Eevee figures.
'LEGO Pokémon Large Trainer Red Minifigure' is a large, buildable version of the series' iconic protagonist, Red. It faithfully recreates his red cap, vest with badges, and Poké Ball, and features fully articulated arms, legs, and head for various posing options.
To celebrate the launch, LEGO Korea is opening pre-orders for three of the sets: 'LEGO Pokémon Arcanine,' 'Munchlax,' and 'Pokémon Trainer Journey: Poké Ball.' Pre-orders are available through the official online LEGO Store and the official Naver brand store while supplies last. 'Arcanine' and 'Munchlax' will begin shipping on their release date of August 1, while 'Pokémon Trainer Journey: Poké Ball' will begin shipping on October 1.
A representative from LEGO Korea stated, "These new products expand the 'LEGO Pokémon' universe by bringing a variety of Pokémon and trainers to life in LEGO bricks. We hope fans enjoy this more diverse 'LEGO Pokémon' world, which offers both the immersive experience of building and the joy of display."
Meanwhile, four of the new 'LEGO Pokémon' sets—excluding the 'LEGO Pokémon Large Trainer Red Minifigure'—will be available sequentially at LEGO stores nationwide, both online and offline, starting August 1 and October 1. The 'Large Trainer Red Minifigure' will be available starting October 1 exclusively at official online and offline LEGO Stores.
