Kakao Games announced on the 1st that it is accelerating its push into the second-half game market by ramping up the unveiling of new titles following the launch of the co-CEO system led by Kim Tae-hwan and Lee Si-woo.

With a core strategy focused on strengthening global competitiveness and expanding its gaming business, the company is securing new growth engines by sequentially introducing a diverse range of titles, from MMORPGs to global PC and console games.

The first title revealed under the new co-CEO system is 'Odin Q: Valkyrie's Call,' a new MMORPG currently in development by Lionheart Studio.

Odin Q: Valkyrie's Call' is based on a world-view reinterpreted from the Norse epic 'EDDA.' Its official title, subtitle, and key visual were first unveiled via a teaser site in June. The key visual captures the grand atmosphere of the game, centering on the final war of the gods leading up to Ragnarok and the fire giant Surtr, while the main characters visually express the unique world-view and mythic sensibility of the Odin IP.

The teaser site supports major Asian languages in addition to Korean, signaling the company's intent for a global service. Kakao Games plans to grow the title into a next-generation flagship by leveraging the successful IP established by 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' to offer an expanded world-view and a differentiated MMORPG experience.

World of Dokkaebi,' a new MMORPG being developed by Supercat, also began full-scale launch preparations with the opening of a teaser page on June 25.

The teaser page features an intro video inspired by traditional Korean 'munjado' (character painting) and lively festival scenes with actual game characters, showcasing a vibrant world with a distinct Korean flair.

The accompanying teaser video features a symbolic scene of shattering medieval-style armor, signaling a departure from traditional MMORPG conventions and promising a differentiated experience.

World of Dokkaebi' is being developed as a K-fantasy MMORPG centered on free character growth, skill combinations, and clan-based cooperative content. Pre-registration is set to begin in July, with major content to be revealed during an online showcase in August.

God Save Birmingham,' a new PC and console title being developed by OCEAN DRIVE Studio, also conducted its first Closed Beta Test (CBT) from June 23 to 30 to validate its gameplay.

CBT participants praised the game for its unique premise—a zombie survival game set in the Middle Ages—as well as its high-freedom survival system that actively utilizes a physics engine and strategic gameplay that leverages sound and environment. Players particularly highlighted the high level of immersion and free-form playstyle as key differentiators from existing survival games, raising expectations for the title.

Industry observers believe the new titles being unveiled under the new management system will serve as the core lineup demonstrating Kakao Games' structural improvements and growth strategy.

Kakao Games plans to sequentially release various new titles in the second half of the year, including 'Odin Q: Valkyrie's Call' and 'World of Dokkaebi.'
