NC announced on the 1st that its PC online MMORPG, Lineage Remastered (hereinafter Lineage), has launched a new update titled 'Infinite Spiral: Spire of the Conqueror.

To celebrate the update, Lineage is gifting a 'Spire of the Conqueror' special coupon. Players can use the coupon to choose between a Conqueror's Enhanced Supply Chest or a Conqueror's Equipment Supply Chest. The contents of these chests are tailored to both the main servers and the specialized servers.

The Spire of the Conqueror is a solo-play challenge consisting of up to 50 floors. As players ascend, the terrain and the types of normal and boss monsters change, offering fresh strategic challenges. Players can earn various benefits based on their performance, with rankings tracked by class.

A new six-week web event, 'Mission! Conquer the Spire,' is also underway. Players can earn points through logins, attendance checks, and clearing the spire to receive growth rewards based on their progress gauge. Upon reaching stage 20, players can choose between an Anshar's Magic Training Book (Hero) (Event) or 20 Elixirs (EXP) (Event).

In August, a 4v4 team PVP mode called 'Colosseum of Justice' will be added. Since players compete with identical stats regardless of their character's existing equipment, stats, or skills, victory depends on map awareness and team strategy. The mode features various battlefield gimmicks, including restricted skills, recovery and buff objects, and a shrinking map trap that reduces the arena over time.

Starting July 8, the 'Ice Cave' hunting grounds will open. Players can hunt monsters in the Ice Cave to gain high EXP and obtain various items, including a +7 Extreme Chain Sword and an Epic Skill Selection Chest.

NC is also introducing quality-of-life improvements. New features will be added to the Aden World Market to provide a safer trading environment for players across different servers, and the 'Powerbook' game guide will be revamped for easier information access. A new 'Clan Combat Power' system will allow players to intuitively check the total combat power of their clan members. Additionally, content such as naming integration and short-term server transfers will be available.

Class balance is also being improved. Eleven classes—excluding the recently rebooted 'Fencer'—will undergo skill rebalancing focused on defense and survivability to enhance combat endurance. Furthermore, six classes that previously lacked a 'Unique Skill' will receive new ones, strengthening their individual identities.

Changes are coming to the specialized servers as well. The Tower of Domination will be expanded by 10 floors and then opened sequentially up to the summit. Bosses will appear on each floor, and defeating 'Awakened Bosses' will yield upgraded rewards, including 'Remnants of Awakening' and Legend-grade weapons.
