The Pokémon Company (CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara) announced on the 29th that 'Pokémon Champions,' co-planned and produced by the company and GAME FREAK inc., and developed by The Pokémon Works, has surpassed 10 million cumulative downloads.

Launched globally on Nintendo Switch on April 8 and on mobile on June 17, 'Pokémon Champions' has been well-received by users for its strategic Pokémon battles that utilize various elements such as Pokémon types, abilities, and moves.

This popularity is attributed to the game's cross-play support between Nintendo Switch and smartphones, which allows trainers around the world to enjoy Pokémon battles anytime, anywhere.

To celebrate reaching 10 million downloads, 100 Fast Coupons will be given to all users until August 31.

Additionally, to commemorate the mobile launch on the 17th, all users are being provided with Raichu, as well as Raichunite X and Raichunite Y required for Mega Evolution. Pre-download rewards including Dragonite and 100 Fast Coupons are also being provided.

Furthermore, a 'Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A' tie-in campaign is underway. Players can send Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja, and Flabébé (Eternal Flower) obtained in that game to 'Pokémon Champions' to receive the Mega Stones required for each Pokémon's Mega Evolution.

'Pokémon Champions' is available for free download on the Nintendo eShop, Google Play, and the Apple App Store.
