Source: WEMADEWEMADE (CEO Park Kwan-ho) officially launched the global version of its MMORPG 'Legend of YMIR' on the PC gaming platform Steam today (the 7th).
'Legend of YMIR' is an MMORPG that follows the epic of warriors fighting to restore fate and order in a world plunged into chaos before 'Ragnarok' in Norse mythology. It features high-quality graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5 and spectacular combat sequences.
Launched globally last October via WEMADE's blockchain game platform WEMIX PLAY, as well as Google Play and the Apple App Store, 'Legend of Ymir' recorded nearly 200,000 concurrent users. With this Steam release, WEMADE is expanding its reach to global PC users, allowing more players to experience 'Legend of Ymir.' Some blockchain features are not available in the Steam version.
Alongside the Steam launch, a new class, 'Rune Fighter,' has been added to the global service. The Rune Fighter specializes in melee combat, using gauntlets and greaves to deliver powerful punches and kicks to enemies. Its signature skill, 'Barrier,' enhances the abilities of allies within range while debuffing enemy combat efficiency, making it a strategic asset in large-scale battles.
