South Korean publisher Netmarble has officially launched StoneAge Idle Adventure, the latest entry in its long-running StoneAge IP, on iOS and Android devices.
According to a release, the mobile title is based on the “StoneAge” franchise, which the company claims has attracted more than 200m players worldwide. The new instalment retains the series’ core concept of adventuring alongside pet dinosaurs, while introducing simplified systems designed for idle and on-the-go play.
Modernised systems and returning fan favourites
StoneAge Idle Adventure reworks legacy features such as pet capturing and mounting for mobile audiences. Players can build decks made up of up to six Trainers and 18 Pets, allowing 24 units to participate in battles simultaneously.
Fan-favourite pets from earlier entries — including Mogaros, Veldor and Yangidon — return with their original traits, albeit redesigned with a more stylised, modern appearance.
According to the release, the game also includes a mix of competitive and cooperative modes. These feature the large-scale raid ‘Advent Battle’, the ranking-based ‘Sky Tower’, a real-time resource-stealing mode called ‘Aquafarm’ and the co-op ‘Mecha Pet Hunt’, where players work together to repel invasions.
Launch events and rewards
To mark the global launch, Netmarble is hosting a series of in-game events. According to the release, players can earn up to 10,000 Pet Draw Tickets and 10,000 Blue Gems through participation. In addition, all pets available at launch can be unlocked through daily login rewards. The mount pet ‘Pteravis’ is set to be granted as a Day two login bonus.
StoneAge Idle Adventure is now available to download via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Further details can be found on the game’s official website. Founded in 2000, Netmarble is a global game developer and publisher headquartered in South Korea. The company operates several subsidiaries, including Kabam and Jam City, and holds stakes in firms such as HYBE and NCSOFT.
Its portfolio spans multiple mobile and online titles, including Solo Leveling:ARISE, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, Raven2, MARVEL Future Fight and The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. The launch of StoneAge Idle Adventure continues Netmarble’s strategy of leveraging established intellectual properties for the mobile market, a segment that remains one of the largest revenue drivers within the global games industry.
