PAX East 2026 has unveiled its full exhibitor lineup, with Nintendo, Blumhouse Games and Double Fine Productions among more than 300 companies set to attend the Boston-based gaming event later this month.
According to a release from co-organisers ReedPop and Penny Arcade, the East Coast gaming convention will return to the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center — formerly known as the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center — from March 26th-29th.
The show floor will feature publishers, developers, hardware brands and tabletop companies spanning video games, technology and analogue gaming.
Major publishers and local studios confirmed
Newly announced exhibitors include Nintendo, Blumhouse Games, Double Fine Productions, NIS America, GIANTS Software and DreadXP. They join previously revealed companies such as IllFonic — which is working on the upcoming asymmetrical stealth horror title Halloween — Gravity Co. Ltd. and Atari Interactive.
Hardware and accessory brands Logitech and Lexar are also confirmed for the expo hall, alongside comic and entertainment publisher IDW Publishing.
Massachusetts-based developers will also have a presence on the show floor. Red Rabbit Games, Daylight Basement Studio and AAAA Games are among the local studios set to exhibit, ensuring regional representation at the event.
Tabletop gaming will once again form part of the convention’s offering. Magic: The Gathering, Dice Throne, Misty Mountain Gaming and UVS Games — which publishes Godzilla: Reign of Kaiju — are scheduled to host analogue experiences across the weekend.
Panels, cosplay and live performances
Beyond the expo floor, PAX East 2026 will host a range of panels and live entertainment.
IllFonic is set to run a panel discussing Halloween, featuring Malek Akkad, President of Compass International Pictures, with John Carpenter, director of the original 1978 film, appearing virtually.
The schedule will also include a Warframe panel, cosplay gatherings such as a Resident Evil 30th anniversary meetup and live concerts. Performers include indie pop artist mxmtoon and Sixth Station Trio.
Jerry Holkins, Co-founder of PAX, Penny Arcade and Child’s Play Charity, commented on the upcoming show: “Mentally, I’m already there. My keyboard is super messed up. I’m just gonna put up with it until the show. They got a bunch of real weird keyboards there.”
Tickets and event details
Badges for PAX East 2026 are currently on sale. A four-day badge is priced at $250, with single-day passes available for $75 for Thursday, Friday or Sunday, and $82 for Saturday. A BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) badge costs $55.
PAX — short for Penny Arcade Expo — was first held in Seattle in 2004 and has since expanded to multiple cities across North America and internationally. ReedPop, a pop culture event organiser within RX, co-produces the event alongside Penny Arcade, the long-running webcomic and media company.
With more than 300 exhibitors confirmed, this year’s Boston edition continues to position itself as one of North America’s largest consumer gaming conventions, offering a mix of AAA publishers, indie developers and community-led programming under one roof.
