DragonX and Support Park "TusiN" Jong-ik have mutually agreed to part ways. TusiN spent the entirety of the 2019 LCK season as the starting Support for DragonX — then KING-ZONE DragonX — and formed a fearsome duo in the Bot Lane with Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu.
TusiN served an integral in KZ's team dynamic. Not only was he able to set up Deft for success on a plethora of playmakers like Thresh and Rakan, his carry potential on Pyke was unparalleled in the LCK. TusiN was also a big part of the team's communications, serving as the primary shotcaller and fulfilling the captain role with his strong veteran presence.
KING-ZONE DragonX missed the 2019 LCK Summer Playoffs, but due to its 3rd place finish in the Spring Playoffs, qualified for the 2019 LCK Regional Final. KZ triumphed over Afreeca Freecs and Sandbox Gaming in the first two gauntlet matches, but fell to DAMWON Gaming 3-2 in the final match of the Regional Final and failed to qualify for the 2019 League of Legends World Championship.
"There was something that I said during the pause vs. Afreeca Freecs, which was that it could be our very last run with this lineup," TusiN told InvenGlobal after defeating Sandbox Gaming in the LCK Regional Final. "I think everyone was also thinking that as well."
Despite only being within a game of Worlds qualification, both DragonX and TusiN agreed it would be best to go separate ways. While there have been rumors linking TusiN to multiple LCS teams, this is the first official announcement regarding his newly acquired free agency.
