Since Riot Games announced True Damage as the 2019 League of Legends World Championship's answer to 2018's K/DA, the League of Legends community has waited in anticipation for League of Legend's newest music troupe's debut.  True Damage debuted its first single, 'Giants' with a live performance to open the Worlds 2019 Finals in Paris. The accompanying animated music video was released shortly after the performance on the official League of Legends Youtube channel.

The song also revealed the artists who would join SOYEON's Akali: Duckwrth as Yasuo, THUTMOSE as Ekko, Keke Palmer as Senna, and Becky G. as Qiyana. The artists took to the stage in Paris during the opening ceremony to perform a full live rendition of the song, complete with AR and holographics as has become the standard with Riot Games production at the World Championship.

The style of Giants is much more hip-hop influenced than K/DA's 'POP/STARS', but consists of similar quality in deft wordplay and an anthemic chorus. POP/STARS was a massive hit immediately after its debut at the 2018 Worlds Finals, and currently sits at 279 million views on YouTube
