BBQ autumn on His Foreign Teammates: "We can communicate with our hands and feet. Also, our team has players that are good in English. There are no problems with our communication."

On the 21st of December (KST), bbq Olivers defeated ES Sharks 2:0 in the last day of the 2018 KeSPA Cup Round 1.

Although it was a 2:0 series, the sets were full of ups and downs; either team could have won this matchup. After coming from behind from a huge deficit in the first set, bbq Olivers won a highly competitive 40-minute long game. The second set was more about bbq's composition. With late-game carries such Orianna-Karthus-Varus in their team, they were clearly on the advantage in the late game teamfights. Soon after winning a fight near ES Sharks' inhibitors, bbq Olivers closed down the game and advanced to the next round.

After the match, bbq Olivers' mid laner, autumn was interviewed.

You've won a  competitive match. What are your thoughts on your debut?

I was nervous and my hands were really cold. Fortunately, announcer, Lee Hyun-kyung gave me a hand warmer which helped a lot. Well, I was so pressured that I used my Orianna ultimate in mid-air twice. Still, my teammates did well and that's how we won.

You were each on Zoe and Orianna on games 1,2. On the scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your debut?

I was too passive. I'll give a 5.

Then, on the scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your potential?

Well, wouldn't a 9 be okay since I know what I did wrong?

The team could've lost game 1. The opponent was highly aggressive which seemed to stop your team from going forward.

I thought that we'd win if we can make it to the late game. That was the basic mindset. Although the opponent could've seemed aggressive, they didn't really earn any points. Yeah, I thought that we'd win if we sustain.

Malice performed very well. As a matter of fact, he picked Karthus and Kha'Zix jungle. What are your thoughts on his champion selection?

For the last set, Karthus dealt the most damage. It was a bit frustrating that I was at a close 2nd place. (laughs)

There are some foreigners performing in bbq Olivers. Don't you guys have any problems when communicating?

Even if we don't talk, we can communicate with our hands and feet. Also, our team has some players that are good in English. There are no problems with our communication.

The team will face SKT T1 and you'll lane against Faker. Do you have any resolutions?

I think if we can perform well using our playstyle, we do have a chance of winning.
