Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 24th that it has released a summer update for its online RPG 'TalesWeaver,' centered on a major overhaul of progression content.

First, the progression guide, previously quest-based, has been replaced with the UI-driven 'Jelly-Pi Guide System.' By organizing progression missions, guide missions, and growth status into tabs, the system ensures a seamless transition from character creation to endgame content. Progression missions offer rewards for completing tasks at each growth stage and are linked to 'Burning Rush' missions, allowing players to earn additional rewards based on overall progress. Guide missions help players master key systems like Enchantment, Runes, and Soul Link, while the growth status tab allows them to track character development and key stats for each level range.

Progression paths, content, and reward structures have also been improved. Episode 1 has been optimized as an early-game growth route by adjusting monster balance and EXP gains, with enhanced guidance. The entry order and recommended ranges for major growth segments have been reorganized to better fit current gameplay flows. Instant travel has been added to certain quests to reduce travel time, and repetitive content in 'Eternal Cave' and 'Eternal Floor' has been simplified and converted to a weekly cycle to reduce the burden on players. Additionally, rewards for defeating bosses and special monsters have been adjusted to ensure a stable supply of materials needed for growth.

Nexon also introduced 'Lumina's Corridor,' a new challenge mode based on character switching. Players can assign up to four characters from their Rune account to slots and must clear up to 10 stages by following a route map featuring five mission nodes per stage. The mode includes 12 types of missions, such as boss battles, survival challenges, and puzzles, requiring players to strategically choose paths and respond to gimmicks based on each character's unique traits and stats.

To celebrate the summer update, Nexon is hosting various events until August 27. Participants in the 'NEW Burning Rush' progression support event will receive buffs, including a 1k% increase in EXP gain. Along with the growth guide, players can earn a full set of 'True Aquilus Equipment (Weapon/Armor) Chest (14 days)' and awakening materials. In the 'Illumination Festival' summer event, players can collect 'Hologram Stickers' from minigame rewards to exchange for avatars and growth materials. Completing three or more daily quests grants access to the 'Jelly-Pi Vending Machine,' which provides dungeon entry tickets and a 1+1 dungeon reward bonus. Furthermore, returning players can participate in 'Jelly-Pi's Bootcamp,' where they can convert their days of inactivity into Nexon Cash, up to a maximum of ₩365,000, by completing progression and event missions.
