Pearl Abyss will host the '2026 Black Desert Heidel Ball in SoCal' in California, USA, on July 26 (local time). Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the game's service in North America and Europe, the event is drawing significant attention from players as it will feature major upcoming update plans and new class reveals.

This year's Heidel Ball will host 200 adventurers from North America and Europe. As the event serves as a milestone to reflect on the past decade of service with the community, Pearl Abyss has prepared various on-site programs, including a cosplay contest and activity zones, to facilitate direct interaction with attendees.

The update showcase is the most anticipated segment. Pearl Abyss plans to unveil major upcoming content during the event, with the showcase being broadcast live in nine languages on July 26 at 10:00 AM (local time) via the official Black Desert YouTube and Chzzk channels.

Teaser content released ahead of the event has also sparked speculation among players. Following an image hinting at 'Edania' Part 2, Pearl Abyss showcased a revolver-style weapon that appears to be used by a new class. A teaser video released on the 16th included the new class' voice, along with clues and a codename that have led to various fan theories.

The 'Heidel Ball' is the flagship event where Black Desert announces major updates and future service directions. As it is often the stage where new classes, regions, and large-scale content are first revealed, it has garnered global attention every year. This year's event is expected to be the largest in its history, marking the significance of the 10th anniversary of the North American and European service.

Since launching in Korea in 2014, Black Desert has steadily expanded its global reach and is now available in 13 languages. The game launched in North America and Europe in 2016, and this year marks its 10th anniversary, which will be celebrated with local players at the event.
