NetEase Games announced on the 10th that the open world survival game 'Once Human' will officially launch its console version on August 26 (KST).
The game will be free to play on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, featuring full support for console-optimized first-person perspective and cross-play. Upon launch, the console version will offer over 300 hours of gameplay content, including six scenarios and an additional PVP spin-off.
To provide an immersive experience tailored for consoles, a first-person perspective mode has been implemented, allowing players to switch freely between it and the existing third-person view. The game also supports high-resolution graphics, with options ranging from a 4K mode to a 120FPS performance mode.
The console version also offers a controller experience optimized for the platform. It incorporates features that capture the essence of console gaming, such as low-frequency vibrations when facing giant monsters, precision targeting during boss monster battles, and haptic feedback when items drop.
Pre-purchase packages that include limited rewards are now available. Two types of packages can be purchased directly through the official PlayStation and Xbox platforms. The Beginner Package includes rewards such as weapon skins and cradle skins, while the Radiance Package offers rewards including an epic set selection and a premium battle pass.
Further details regarding the official console launch of Once Human and the pre-purchase packages can be found on the official website and the Naver official Lounge.
