KRAFTON announced on the 10th that it will host the PUBG MOBILE RIVALS CUP 2026 KR VS JP (PMRC 2026 KR VS JP) from the 11st to the 12nd.

PMRC 2026 KR VS JP is a national rivalry tournament featuring top PUBG MOBILE esports teams from South Korea and Japan. A total of 16 teams will compete, with eight teams representing Korea—ranked 2nd through 9th in the PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) 2026 Season 1—and eight teams from Japan.

The winner of this tournament will secure a spot in the 2026 PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC). The PMWC is a global event held in conjunction with the Esports World Cup (EWC), for which the PMPS 2026 Season 1 champion, Nongshim RedForce, has already secured a direct seed. The winner of PMRC 2026 KR VS JP will also advance to the PMWC, giving Korean teams another opportunity to secure a global tournament berth.

Notably, the tournament will feature national team players from the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Dplus KIA will field three Asian Games PUBG MOBILE national team members: Park Sang-cheol (FAVIAN), Song Su-an (NolBu), and Jeong Yu-chan (chpz). These players aim to build their international competitiveness through their experiences in the PMPS, PMRC, and PMWC as they continue their journey toward an Asian Games gold medal.

PMRC 2026 KR VS JP will take place at 3:00 PM on both the 11st and 12nd. Each day will feature six matches, with the map rotation starting with Rondo, followed by three rounds of Erangel and two rounds of Miramar. The final standings will be determined by the total points accumulated over the 12 matches played across the two days.

The tournament will be broadcast exclusively live on Naver Chzzk. During the broadcast, viewer events will be held; viewers can enter keywords revealed during the stream into the PUBG MOBILE in-game event center to receive 20 Chicken Medals on a first-come, first-served basis.
