Nexon has filed a trademark for the new Dungeon & Fighter IP it previously teased.
On June 30, a trademark application for the name 'Dungeon & Fighter: Idle' was filed with the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS). This is the new Dungeon & Fighter franchise title Nexon mentioned at its Tokyo Capital Markets Briefing (CMB) in March. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that Neople also filed an English trademark for 'Dungeon & Fighter: Idle RPG.' Both applications are currently awaiting examination, and the names match the game titles discussed at the CMB.
'Dungeon & Fighter: Idle' is a new idle RPG based on the Dungeon & Fighter IP, currently slated for release within this year. Developed by Nexon Games, the title aims to provide a casual and accessible experience, much like MapleStory: Idle. As noted during the Tokyo CMB, the title is intended to attract new and casual users to the franchise, in addition to the existing core player base.
Specific details regarding 'Dungeon & Fighter: Idle' have not yet been disclosed. Nexon Games is also currently developing 'Dungeon & Fighter: Arad,' an open world action RPG utilizing the Dungeon & Fighter IP.
