VALOFE, a global game publishing platform company, announced on the 7th that it is accelerating its IP expansion as its ongoing Last Origin pop-up store in Japan receives a positive response from local users, while the company continues to expand its secondary creation business based on its game IPs.
In June, VALOFE announced plans to expand its secondary creation business—including figures, merchandise, music, and animation—using its own game IPs, such as Last Origin. This pop-up store is one of the projects being pursued as part of that strategy.
In collaboration with Melonbooks, a major Japanese distributor specializing in subculture content, VALOFE has been operating the Last Origin pop-up store since June 13, with the event running through July 26. The pop-up store features a 'First Joint Total War' concept and offers a variety of merchandise, including exclusive items from the Melonbooks collaboration, which have been well-received by local users. Additionally, a dedicated page introducing Last Origin has been launched in conjunction with the pop-up store, providing content that highlights the appeal of the IP and its characters.
Furthermore, Pmang, a game platform operated by Japanese subsidiary G.O.P, is launching a special page for the Titania Frost figure from Last Origin on the 7th. Through this, the company plans to introduce detailed information and the appeal of the figure to further expand its touchpoints with Japanese users.
Following the previously unveiled Titania figure, VALOFE is currently producing several new figures, with related information to be released sequentially. The company intends to continuously expand its product lineup using the Last Origin IP.
Building on the experience gained from its secondary creation business in Japan, VALOFE is preparing various IP initiatives in Korea, including offline events. The company plans to continue expanding its business using game IPs—such as merchandise and figures based on Last Origin and other proprietary titles—to broaden user engagement and strengthen its IP competitiveness.
VALOFE stated that it is launching various projects sequentially in line with the secondary creation business expansion strategy announced last month, and that it plans to continue strengthening its global IP competitiveness by introducing diverse content and new projects based on its game IPs.
