V5 Games announced that it officially launched its new mobile MMORPG, Legend of Mir: Jin, on Google Play, the Apple App Store, ONE store, and Galaxy Store on the 4th. The game utilizes the intellectual property of Actoz Soft's flagship online game, Legend of Mir 1.
The original Legend of Mir 1, released in 1998, is a monumental title that symbolizes the early days of domestic online MMORPGs and has been remembered by countless users as a classic even after its service ended.
Legend of Mir: Jin is the first mobile MMORPG in Korea to actively utilize the Legend of Mir 1 IP. It meticulously recreates the original's signature dot-pixel art style and oriental worldview for the mobile environment, proving high global anticipation by surpassing 1 million pre-registrations in just two weeks.
The game features six distinct classes—Yang Warrior, Yin Warrior, Taoist, Sorcerer, Master, and Monk—allowing players to experience the core fun of character growth and combat in a mobile environment.
It also supports an item trading system between users via an auction house and introduces free-roaming field PvP and a penalty system, balancing tense gameplay with fair competition. Furthermore, it perfectly implements Siege War, a large-scale guild warfare mode involving hundreds of players, allowing users to vividly enjoy the intense cooperation and competitive combat that were the core appeal of the original MMORPG.
To celebrate the official launch, V5 Games plans to offer various in-game events and provide tangible benefits, such as additional rewards and cashback, for top-ups made via the VFG platform. Detailed information regarding the official service of Legend of Mir: Jin can be found on the official website.
