Nexon's MapleStory has demonstrated its enduring popularity ahead of the 'Overdrive' showcase scheduled for June 13.

Tickets for the in-person event went on sale on the 26th. Despite being restricted to users with characters at level 270 or higher, the tickets sold out in just one minute.

In addition, the program allowing fans to watch the showcase at Lotte Cinema has also gained traction, leading to the decision to open additional screening venues today (the 28th).

Rewards will be provided for both in-person and Lotte Cinema attendees. In-person attendees will receive a signature ticket containing 15k Nexon Cash and a cheering light stick, while Lotte Cinema attendees will receive a signature ticket containing 12k Nexon Cash.

Meanwhile, the MapleStory 2026 Summer Showcase 'Overdrive,' which sold out in one minute, will take place on June 13 at 4:00 PM at the Jamsil Ticketlink Live Arena (Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium). Nexon recently promoted Kim Chang-seop, the general director of MapleStory, to vice president, signaling a push to strengthen the MapleStory IP.
