On the 1st of April (KST), kt Rolster defeated Griffin 2-1 in the 2020 League of Legends Champions Korea Spring Split. With this match, the two teams walked in completely opposite directions. While KT sailed on with their 8th consecutive win, Griffin fell to a 9-game losing streak. After the match, KT’s bot duo, Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram and Park “TusiN” Jong-ik, was interviewed by the casters’ desk.

Congratulations on today’s win. How do you feel?

Aiming: I feel good that we’re on a long winning streak. I’m also happy that I can get interviewed often.

(To TusiN) You played your 400th LCK match. Do you remember your first LCK match?

TusiN: I do. I think the opponent was Xenics Storm. I remember playing Leona in that match.

Looking at Aiming beside you, he’s really young. Do you feel that you’ve played for quite a long time?

TusiN: I had my debut when I was 20 years old. I’m already 26 now. Now that I know that I’ve played 400 matches, I do feel that I’ve been around for a long time.

Did you start growing your beard? Does it affect your performance?

TusiN: I didn’t shave during the two-week break and it felt alright. I’m not sure when I’ll shave. It kind of feels that as my beard gets longer, the winning streak is also getting longer.

Today’s POG was Aiming’s eighth POG of the season. If you get one more, you’ll be tied with Chovy. Do you want to end the season with the most POGs?

Aiming: Since I’ve been getting a lot, I started to want to get the most.

Do you think you’ll be able to turn it around against Chovy?

Aiming: If we continue this flow with the winning streak, it could be possible.

How was the feedback after losing Game 2?

Aiming: We usually had a high win percentage on the blue team and lost on the red team. That’s why we have many 2-1 matches. I thought we would be able to win if we get back to the blue team in Game 3. We just discussed what went wrong and played confidently.

The chat is saying the two of you look like Ezreal and Tahm Kench... In no particular order. Does it feel like that when you two are together?

Aiming: TusiN is kind of like the brave Zhang Fei. I think I can follow him around with trust.

TusiN: We can be Ezreal and Tahm Kench, but Ezreal can be support and Tahm Kench could get the CS, right?

One of the reasons that Aiming is doing well is that TusiN’s performance is better as well. Do you think you’re doing better?

TusiN: It’s just a difference in mindset. When we were on a losing streak, sometimes I think we’re losing because of me. We’re winning now and we’re learning more winning conditions so the atmosphere gets better.

Your next match is against DragonX. Are you confident?

Aiming: Whatever team we meet, I’m confident that we can beat them. I’ll play with that same thought in mind when we play DragonX.

TusiN: Maybe because Deft is getting old, his performance is creaking a bit. I’ll make the match fun.
