'Odin: Valhalla Rising,' a MMORPG serviced by Kakao Games and developed by Lionheart Studio, reached No. 1 on the Apple App Store revenue chart on the 25th. This achievement follows the major 5th-anniversary update released the previous day, on the 24th. On the same day, the game also rose to 5th place on the Google Play revenue chart.

The 5th-anniversary update is the primary driver behind this surge. On the 24th, Kakao Games introduced a variety of new content, including the new class 'Alchemist,' the inter-server content 'World Base Occupation Battle,' and the new server 'Skadi.' The 'Alchemist' is the fourth class advancement for the 'Sorceress,' featuring a mechanic where players charge skills with specific colored reagents to trigger additional effects based on the color. With numerous status-effect skills such as mutation, stun, and charm, the class is highly versatile in various combat scenarios, including PVP.
