Ticket sales for domestic fans for 'MSI 2026', which will be held from June 28 to July 12 at Exhibition Hall 2 of the Daejeon Convention Center in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, will begin on Friday, the 22nd, at 2 p.m. via NOL Ticket. This is the second time the MSI has been held in Korea, following Busan Metropolitan City in 2022. A total of 11 teams—two from each of the six regions worldwide and one from Brazil (CBLOL)—will compete to determine the strongest team in their respective regions. The tournament is divided into the Play-In Stage and the Bracket Stage. The four No. 2 seed teams from Korea (LCK), North America (LCS), EMEA (LEC), and Asia-Pacific (LCP) will compete in the Play-In Stage from June 28 to July 1, and the team that survives will join the Bracket Stage. The Bracket Stage will be played in a best-of-five double-elimination format, with the Winners' Bracket Finals held on July 9, the Losers' Bracket Finals on July 11, and the Grand Finals on July 12. The MSI winning team will automatically qualify for the World Championship to be held in the United States this coming October. Regions that produce the runner-up team, or regions that produce the third-place team in cases where a single region wins both the championship and runner-up, will receive one additional seed for the World Championship. Ticket reservations will be available via NOL Ticket starting at 2:00 PM on the 22nd. Discount benefits for Daejeon citizens will also be offered. For non-reserved seating matches held from June 28 to July 9, Daejeon citizens can select the discount on a first-come, first-served basis; additionally, a 10,000 won discount will be applied to the ticket price upon proving a registered Daejeon address at the venue.
