KT Rolster defeated GC Busan Rising Star by 2-0 in the League of Legends KeSPA Cup 2018 Quarterfinals on December 26th. Although both teams seemed to go 50:50 at first during game 1, KT later crushed GC Busan in the team fights; it was the same for game 2, in which KT spared no mercy for GC Busan and defeated them. During the match, UmTi and Bdd showed spectacular teamwork, leading their team to victory. Following is the interview with KT Rolster UmTi and Bdd, both of whom displayed outstanding performance. This was your first official match after the team rebuilds. You must have felt nervous and excited at the same time; you had a perfect win by 2-0.

Interview with SKT T1 Faker: "I’m kind of growing sick of playing Lissandra, but at the same time, there is a positive side to it since I don’t have to reveal too many of my cards"
Today's interview features Faker from SKT T1, which won against bbq Olivers 2-0 in the KeSPA Cup Round 1 Round of 8 Group D. While SKT T1 outperformed their opponent team during set 1, they were a little shaky in set 2; nonetheless, they made it the semifinals by winning the team fights, which resulted in an amazing reverse sweep. After the match ended, we had a chance to talk to Faker about several things: how he felt about playing on Christmas, his thoughts on playing Lissandra four times in a row, and the slang being used a lot by SKT T1 players. Gen.G Esports defeated SANDBOX Gaming by 2-0 and made it to the 2nd round in the League of Legends KeSPA Cup 2018 on December 24th. The match between Gen.G and SANDBOX was almost like watching their LCK game beforehand; although the result was 2-0, the games themselves were very intense and fun to watch for the fans. Notably, Life, who has made his debut in this tournament, displayed outstanding performance like a true prospective player for the year 2019.

GC Busan Rising STar won against Jin Air Green Wings by 2-0 in the League of Legends KeSPA Cup Round 1 on December 24th. It seemed at first Jin Air had an advantage over GC Busan when they had taken enemy Lucian in the bot lane, although GC Busan managed to catch up by taking the Rift Herald and winning the team fights. GC Busan then took the Baron Nashor and marched on to destroy enemy Nexus, defeating Jin Air Green Wings. Following is the post-match interview with Moo from GC Busan Rising Star. Did you expect to win against Jin Air Green Wings today? Yes, I expected we would obviously win by 2-0 even before coming to the stadium. It was impressive how you carry with Ezreal, just like you did in the last match as well as the 1st set today.

Ambition Announces His Retirement
On December 24th, Ambition announced that he will be retiring from pro gaming during his stream on Twitch. After leaving Gen.G Esports, Ambition wished to stay in Korea this year but also commented that it will not be easy for him to stay as good as what he used to be. He said that he plans to keep his focus on streaming while communicating with his fans.
