On the 29th, the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 3 Rise Group match between Kiwoom DRX and Nongshim RedForce took place at LoL PARK in Jongno. Nongshim RedForce secured a dominant 2-0 victory, marking a strong start to the round. 'Scout's' Roke and 'Kingen's' Zahen led the charge with an overwhelming presence.

In Game 1, Nongshim RedForce deployed the new champion Roke in the mid lane. Both teams engaged in frantic skirmishes from the start. In the bottom lane, 'Diable' Nam Dae-geun's Ezreal and 'Lehends' Son Si-u's Shen secured a double kill via a dive, while Kiwoom DRX found success in the top lane through the persistent ganking of 'Willer' Kim Jung-hyun's Xin Zhao.

Nongshim RedForce began to widen the gap behind 'Scout' Lee Ye-chan's Roke. Roke actively roamed to the bottom lane, racking up 6 kills in just 7 minutes, and continued to snowball the game with constant movement. Although Kiwoom DRX managed to take down the troublesome Roke once, they lost 'Ucal' Son Woo-hyun's Orianna shortly after, breaking their mid-lane stability and losing the ensuing teamfight.

Nongshim RedForce claimed Baron as their spoils and easily secured the Mountain Soul. The global gold lead was already approaching 10k. Demonstrating their superior strength in the final top-lane teamfight, Nongshim RedForce wiped out the enemy team while only losing Ezreal. They then marched down the mid lane, picking off respawning opponents one by one before destroying the Nexus.

In the following second game, the momentum favored Kiwoom DRX until the mid-game. 'LazyFeel's' Sivir and 'Andil' Moon Gwan-bin's Nautilus secured multiple kills during the laning phase, giving Kiwoom DRX the lead. 'Willer' Kim Jung-hyun's Skarner was also growing well.

However, around the 16-minute mark, Nongshim RedForce signaled their intent to catch up by picking off the Nautilus and Skarner in succession. To make matters worse for Kiwoom DRX, Sivir was caught out in a costly mistake, allowing Nongshim to flip the global gold lead. Having seized the momentum, Nongshim RedForce began winning consecutive skirmishes, starting with a Dragon teamfight, and eventually secured Baron.

By this point, Nongshim RedForce's teamfight power was far superior. In every teamfight, 'Kingen' Hwang Seong-hoon's Zahen showcased an immortal presence; while Zahen held the line, 'Scout's' Syndra and 'Diable's' Jhin filled the damage void. After securing the Cloud Soul, Nongshim RedForce widened the gap to over 10k gold, just as they had in Game 1, to complete a comeback victory in the second game.
