The teaser for 'Avengers: Doomsday,' the film that will conclude the Multiverse Saga alongside its sequel, 'Avengers: Secret Wars,' has finally been released. With 151 days left until the premiere, the trailer is expected to ramp up fan anticipation in earnest.
Marvel Entertainment released the teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, a Phase 6 entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), via its official online Channel on the 20th (KST). The footage is identical to the trailer shown at CinemaCon last April, packing glimpses of the main cast, their team-ups, and their conflicts into a short, dense sequence. At the time of CinemaCon, the video was shown only to attendees under strict security, with no footage leaked—only descriptions and audio details were reported.
Making its debut to the general public about three months later, the trailer opens with a shot of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Professor X is soon seen looking out at a scene reminiscent of an incursion, followed by the appearance of Doctor Doom alongside the Marvel logo.

In the video, Thor rallies the heroes, warning them of a threat stronger than any they have faced before. Present are the New Avengers, led by the Thunderbolts, members of the Fantastic Four, the current Captain America Sam Wilson, and Ant-Man. The scene then shifts to show various collaborations and conflicts, including Shuri facing off against Namor, Thor preparing to confront Doctor Doom with his lightning-charged Stormbreaker, the appearance of Cyclops, the new Loki from the TVA, and The Thing joining forces with M'Baku.
Notably, the trailer suggests that X-Men heroes will clash with the heroes of the MCU's Earth, such as Gambit fighting Shang-Chi and Mystique disguised as Yelena to confront the real Yelena.
Furthermore, the trailer depicts Doctor Doom effortlessly blocking a high-leaping Thor's Stormbreaker strike with one hand, underscoring just how powerful and threatening he is. The trailer ends with Thor handing Mjolnir to the former Captain, Steve Rogers.

Avengers: Doomsday serves as the final stretch toward the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga, which has faced various criticisms. Following the release of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' on the 29th, the only remaining MCU Phase 6 films will be Avengers: Doomsday and the 2027 release, Avengers: Secret Wars. As the Multiverse Saga concludes with Secret Wars and the Mutant Saga takes center stage, X-Men heroes are expected to become the focus of the narrative.

Given the significance of this juncture, Marvel has brought back the Russo brothers, who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Additionally, they have cast Robert Downey Jr.—who previously played the late Tony Stark—as Doctor Doom and brought back Chris Evans for the return of the retired Captain, Steve Rogers.
Meanwhile, the film is scheduled for release in North America on December 18, with a domestic release also slated for December. As Marvel films in Korea have typically premiered a day or two earlier than in North America, fans can likely expect a similar release window.
