Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 21st that it has added the event story 'Kivotos Unidentified Mystery' and two new characters to its subculture game 'Blue Archive.'

First, a new event story, 'Kivotos Unidentified Mystery ~Searching for the Unknown Creature, Tsuchinoko~', has been added. This story features students who have gathered to uncover supernatural phenomena—including Konoka, Rena, and Tsubasa—as they work to resolve mysterious occurrences while searching for the legendary creature, the 'Tsuchinoko'.

By completing stories and missions, players can earn event-exclusive currency such as 'Suspicious Magazines', 'Suspicious Health Products', and 'Suspicious Amulets', which can be exchanged in the event shop for various items, including 'Tactical Training BD (Wildhunt)' of various grades, 'Technical Notes (Wildhunt)', and 'Artist's Brain'. Additionally, the high-difficulty Challenge stages provide 30 Pyroxenes for each stage cleared, while the final 'Challenge EX' stage rewards players with 5 Secret Tech Sheet Fragments.

Along with this, two new characters, Konoka and Rena, have been introduced. Konoka, the Deputy Director of the Public Safety Bureau at Valkyrie Police School, is a Mystic-type Tank who deals powerful damage to enemies within a fan-shaped area and can maintain stable combat thanks to an EX Skill that restores a portion of her HP whenever she is attacked. Rena, from Wildhunt Art Academy, is an Explosive-type Supporter whose EX Skill removes one debuff from an ally (excluding herself) and increases their defense. She adds strategic depth to combat by specifically boosting the critical hit damage and attack power of 'Special' students.

Meanwhile, 'Blue Archive' is accepting applications for fan-made booths for the '5th Anniversary Festival' via its official website until July 26. This fan-made content event will be held under the themes of 'Gratitude' and 'Gifts,' and participants can choose one of the two themes to submit their works and merchandise. Applications will be subject to a review process, and final participants will be notified individually after the evaluation.
