Lion successfully struck back in Game 2 to tie the series at 1-1. Kang 'Saint' Seong-in, playing Akali, showcased the prowess of a 'Korean mid-laner' by racking up an impressive 10 kills against Hanwha Life Esports.

In Game 2, Hanwha Life Esports drafted Top Anivia and Mid Orianna, securing early lane priority and a CS lead. This allowed Seo 'Kanavi' Jin-hyeok's Nocturne to comfortably secure the first Dragon and pick up First Blood during a skirmish for Void Grubs. Lion responded in the next Dragon teamfight, using the back-and-forth play of Kang 'Saint' Seong-in's Akali and 'Inspired's' Lee Sin to secure two unanswered kills. They followed this up with aggressive counter-jungling to take down the Nocturne.

The Rift Herald teamfight resulted in an even trade. Hanwha Life Esports found themselves in a precarious position during the intense skirmish, but managed to avoid disaster when Lee Sin's ultimate skill failed to land perfectly. Both teams continued to trade kills in a series of pick-offs. A well-fed Akali even managed a solo kill on Kim 'Zeka' Geon-woo's Orianna. Lion took the initiative from there; when Lee Sin was caught out, they turned the fight around thanks to the efforts of Akali and Kim 'Berserker' Min-seong's Ezreal.

Around the 27-minute mark, Hanwha Life Esports initiated another teamfight near Baron. However, the outcome remained the same. Lee Sin and 'Isles'' Alistar survived, while Akali wreaked havoc on the battlefield and Ezreal unleashed massive damage. After securing Baron as a reward, Lion claimed the Hextech Soul. Lion then swept through the enemy team, starting with Choi 'Zeus' Woo-je's Anivia, before marching into the enemy base to destroy the Nexus and take Game 2.
