This was the end of the road for T1. They were eliminated after falling to G2 Esports, who reclaimed their reputation as the 'LCK Killers.'
In Game 4, T1 got off to a strong start, scoring across all lanes. Doran (Choi Hyun-joon) kicked things off with a solo kill on Olaf, and Faker (Lee Sang-hyuk) responded with a second solo kill on Galio. In the bottom lane, Oner (Moon Hyun-joon) secured a kill on Wukong, while Phase (Kim Su-hwan) on Caitlyn and Keria (Ryu Min-seok) on Lux picked up two duo kills. Olaf even managed a 'love shot' during a dive, trading his life for an opponent's.
G2 Esports showed signs of life by landing effective plays in the mid and bottom lanes. However, their momentum was short-lived. An attempt to dive Olaf backfired when timely support from Galio resulted in G2 giving up a kill instead. A subsequent dive on Galio ended in a 1-for-1 trade. While all eyes were on Olaf, who solo-killed Labrov's Karma and wreaked havoc in the enemy jungle, T1 caught out Hans Sama's Ashe and picked up two more kills, widening the gap significantly.
Around the 18-minute mark, G2 Esports launched a strong counterattack. T1 traded the Dragon for a kill on Ashe but overextended in the pursuit, and G2 did not miss the opportunity. Using Ashe's ultimate skill upon respawn to finish off Caitlyn was a brilliant play, bringing the 4k gold lead back to even. However, T1 regained their focus, sweeping up 5 kills in a Dragon teamfight while only losing Olaf.
T1 scored heavily in a teamfight near Baron that was initiated by Ashe's ultimate skill. Even after Wukong was caught first, the bottom duo survived to the end, leading the team to victory with a pentakill from Caitlyn. In the fight leading up to the Dragon Soul, G2 Esports put T1 in a precarious position by taking down Caitlyn, but Doran, the lone survivor, managed a double kill to extinguish the threat.
G2 Esports then took both Baron and the Dragon, seemingly shifting the momentum back in their favor. However, T1 turned the tables with an ambush, catching Karma and chasing down three more kills to dampen G2's momentum. Yet, after Wukong and Olaf were caught, Galio was picked off in a side lane during the 4th Dragon spawn, forcing T1 to concede the Soul and Baron. G2 Esports now held a lead of over 6k gold.
With the Baron Buff, G2 Esports demolished two inhibitors. After resetting, they pressured T1 from all sides with Kled in the top lane, eventually taking the top inhibitor as well. T1 managed a sigh of relief after catching Viktor and the enemy bottom duo, securing the Elder Dragon. However, G2 Esports played it safe, waiting out the Elder buff before pushing in with super minions and the Baron Buff. T1 attempted to engage, but G2 ignored them, focused fire on the Nexus, and ended the game.
