Quality-of-Life Improvements and Expanded Urban Daily Content
1.2 Version 1.2 introduces various quality-of-life improvements. A feature to batch-select materials by long-pressing when leveling up characters, Arcs, or consoles has been added, and a reporting function will be introduced to the car racing online battle mode. A hide-parts feature will be applied to certain costumes, and the Fight Club ranking calculation logic will be optimized to reflect elimination counts and damage weightings. The difficulty of anomaly tracking bosses with an emotion level of 5 or higher has also been lowered.
In urban daily life, the deep-sea fishing content is being expanded. Caught fish can now be raised at home, with fish tanks categorized into freshwater and saltwater types. While factors like water temperature, pH levels, and species-specific ecological habits must be considered, automatic water quality control and feeding functions are provided to reduce the burden. Rare, large catches can even be hung on the back of vehicles to show off.
An interior blueprint feature is also being added. You can save your custom interior designs as blueprint codes to share on Bagel or apply blueprints from other Appraisers directly to your home. Up to 20 blueprints can be saved, and you must own the furniture used in a blueprint to apply it. The mini-game Ma-chan will feature new permanent content, Riichi Mahjong, which can be enjoyed with friends at maid cafes or at home if a mahjong table is installed.

Character Modeling Optimization for Rinko and Elim
The modeling for Rinko, a member of E.T.D Team 6 who appeared in the 1 version debt collector story, has been improved. Elim, the deputy leader of the same team, has received a major design overhaul that makes her look like an entirely different character. She was teased with a question mark after her name, and the full story behind this change will be revealed in future updates.

New S-Grade Character: Shinku (Light, Combo Damage Dealer)
1.2 The protagonist of the first half of the version, Shinku, is a Light-attribute Combo Arc character from the Anomaly Management Bureau's Containment Team 2. After awakening her abilities as a child, she trained under a master and was recently assigned to the Hetero City headquarters, becoming Mint's new partner. While she may seem unapproachable, she is a woman of action who leads the charge to protect her teammates during missions.
Shinku's combat mechanism is split between two modes: Normal and Berserk. In Normal mode, she uses martial arts for up to 5-hit combos that deal Light-attribute ability damage and accumulates Feral Fighting Spirit, which triggers her Berserk form under certain conditions. Additionally, if she does not attack for a certain period, she enters an Intimidating Gaze state, granting extra damage and a forced knock-back effect upon successful evasion counters.
Activating her Ultimate, Seething Wildfire, consumes all Feral Fighting Spirit to enter the Wildfire Liberation state, which changes all her skills. Her basic attacks become Dread Raid, and as Wildfire Liberation nears its end, she can chain the finisher Wildfire Eradication to deal wide-area Light-attribute damage. Outside of combat, she possesses a World Character trait that partially releases her abilities, significantly increasing open-world movement and climbing speed.
In team combat, activating an Esper Cycle enhances the Charge Cycle effect, allowing off-field characters to charge energy at the same rate as the active character.

New S-Grade Character: Iroi (Spirit, Liquid Supporter)
1.2 Iroi, appearing in the second-half pickup, is also a member of the Anomaly Management Bureau's Containment Team 2. She first appeared in the 1.1 version Corridor of Dreams chapter as a volunteer who welcomed the Appraiser and Nanari to Sunrise Island. With a kind and sociable personality, she is always surrounded by people, but her overly perfect demeanor leaves some questioning her true nature.
Iroi's ability is to create a dream space that lasts forever, with the scenery filled by the three sheep that stay by her side: Phantasos, Morpheus, and Icarus. Thanks to her kind nature, interacting with animals in the open world can yield random growth items, provided up to twice a day for a total cap of 999 times.
Her combat position is a Supporter specialized in healing and buffs. She accumulates Delusion through basic attacks and consumes it with charged attacks to trigger up to 3-stage attacks. Her Bi-rail skill summons her sheep to accumulate Delusion when tapped, or transforms three teammates into a Regressed State when held, granting invincibility and allowing them to inherit a portion of Iroi's attack attributes. Teammates who fall in battle are also converted into the Regressed State.
The effect of her Ultimate depends on the amount of accumulated Delusion. If below the threshold, Dream Beyond the Unspoken opens, continuously healing the entire team. If the threshold is reached, Dream Beyond the Upper Gate opens, dealing continuous damage to enemies while reviving teammates in the Regressed State and restoring a percentage of their HP.

Anomaly Board Game 999-Day Night Tales: Core Permanent Content of 1.2
1.2 The main story continues after the encounter with the leader of the Scarlet Letter organization from 1.1, but since the final confrontation is scheduled for the 1.3 version Scarlet Letter Final Chapter, 1.2 focuses on a lighter, more relaxed daily episode. The story begins with Mint inviting the Appraiser and new colleagues to play a limited-edition board game she managed to acquire: 999-Day Night Tales, released by a DSD art toy shop.
999-Day Night Tales is not just a board game, but a TRPG-style content. The Appraiser becomes a character within the game to experience the fantasy world of the Warren Continent. The narrative structure changes based on player choices, generating stories in real-time. Most importantly, it is a permanent content, not a limited-time event, allowing players to challenge it freely at any time.
The Appraiser forms a 4-person party with Mint, Iroi, and Shinku, each taking on a specific class. The protagonist Zero is a Swordsman, Iroi is a Mage, Mint is a Barbarian, and Shinku is a Dragoon. Starting from Somsom Village, founded by the mysterious creature Somsom, the party adventures through various zones like plains, volcanoes, ice fields, and lakes, with the ultimate goal of reaching the Red Dragon's Castle to defeat the evil Red Dragon.
Each character gains EXP and levels up by defeating monsters on the map. Equipment is divided into 7 parts, with quality and class-based restrictions. Items come with random attributes and stats, and weapons may even have passive skills, so the performance of acquired gear must be verified through appraisal. Completing a set triggers additional attribute bonuses and passives. Equipment appraisal and swapping can only be done at Campsite or Campfire points, where you can also trade and talk with the mysterious merchant Somsom.
Notably, some equipment parts have independent, dedicated models, meaning the appearance changes in real-time upon swapping. Within the Warren Continent, you can freely mix and match parts to enjoy customizing your own look. Completing the first adventure opens new zones on the Warren Continent, and repeated playthroughs yield new missions, hidden stories, higher-grade equipment, and more exchange tokens called Mysterious Buttons.

19 New Costumes and Dyeing Feature Introduced
1.2 A total of 19 new costumes will be released in this version. Most are part of the 999-Day Night Tales series, and some can be exchanged for Mysterious Buttons in the event shop. While free combination by part is possible in the Warren Continent, costumes must be worn as sets in Hetero City. Shinku's Dragon Hunter costume includes special skill effects.
A costume dyeing feature is also being introduced. Using the exclusive Dye Bead item, you can unlock various styles; this changes not just the color, but also the texture and pattern of the costume. The initial rollout includes 33 styles, with additional dyeing options to be released in subsequent updates.

Hetero City's First Fantasy-Style Mount: Draco
The new mount Draco is an innovative vehicle with a structure completely different from existing motorcycles; it can move sideways and perform short jumps while mounted. Its biggest feature is being Hetero City's first fantasy-style mount. Shinku can drive it herself, and riding it while wearing the Dragon Hunter costume activates a synergy that enables a special skin for Draco.

A Diverse Lineup of New Events
Bang Bang Bang is a content where you participate in auctions of various scales with other Appraisers to win collectibles. You can bring different characters as auction partners, each providing clues in unique ways—some reveal the quality and outline of three random collectibles before the auction starts, while others predict the quantity of high-value items during the first bid. You can also select a support item before entering, requiring both brainpower and physical skill.
Precarious Hide-and-Seek is a PVP mini-game set in Clement Academy, featuring 1 chaser and 5 runners. Runners can transform into one of three random objects in the academy to hide and use clones to confuse the chaser, while the chaser uses a scan skill to detect nearby runners and clones. However, the chaser's HP decreases if they attack the wrong target, so random attacks are not effective.
Fishing Operation is an event where you use harpoons, nets, and projectiles at fishing spots to catch large quantities of fish and increase your content level. Raising the level grants rewards and fishing points, which can be used to unlock new fishing skills. Meow Breaking News is a lottery-style event where you can purchase tickets at stalls daily for a chance at jackpot rewards.
In addition, various side events such as Warren Card Flip, Vitality Charge, Gold Rush Operation, Pixel Release, Ponds Rush, and Beyond the Orbit - Ring of Wildfire will be held, offering Phantasm Stones, Ponds, and other resources.

Limited Board and Arc Research Recruitment Plans
1.2 Shinku's limited board Dawn and Iroi's limited board Lifeline will open sequentially. The Shinku board runs from the version update on July 8 until July 29 at 06:59 (KST), and the Iroi board runs from the maintenance on July 29 until August 19 at 06:59 (KST). In the Arc Research Recruitment Plan, Shinku's new Arc Mirage of Red Flame will be available in the Resolution Special Recruitment, and Iroi's new Arc Gate of Taboo will be available in the Gate of Dreams Special Recruitment, both running during their respective character board periods.

Version Benefits and Official Multi-Platform Launch
1.2 Completing a 7-day login after the version update grants up to 10 Dice of Truth as a seasonal gift. Additionally, any Appraiser who creates a character and unlocks the mail function before the end of version 1.2 will receive one S-grade permanent character selection chest via in-game mail.
Furthermore, on July 8, E-Hwan will officially launch on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Samsung Galaxy Store. With the 1.2 update, E-Hwan will be available on more platforms, allowing Appraisers to choose the platform that best suits their device.

1.3 Version Teaser Revealed
At the end of the broadcast, information about version 1.3 was also revealed. The 1.3 main story continues from 1.1 Corridor of Dreams, and the full details of what the Scarlet Letter has been planning with the stolen First Branch, Immutable Time, and Theseus' Key will be unveiled. A summer-themed main event, swimsuit-concept costumes for existing characters, new mounts, and a new single-house style housing system are also in preparation.
E-Hwan 1.2 999-Day Night Tales will be updated on Tuesday, July 8, and further details will be available in a forthcoming detailed notice.
