The 'Summer Special Broadcast,' introducing the summer update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, has been released on the official Nikke YouTube Channel.

The broadcast showcased two limited-edition swimsuit Nikkes, various limited costumes, and summer events. Additionally, a teaser video hinting at a collaboration with Atlus' 'Persona' series was revealed.

The first announcement is the new Nikke, 'Marciana: Marine Study' (Swimsuit Marciana). As a summer-limited Nikke, she is an Iron-code Burst III Attacker who uses a rifle as her weapon.

Swimsuit Marciana can boost her own attack power when using her Burst Skill. Given that she grows stronger as the number of Raptures decreases, she appears to be a Nikke specialized for Raid boss battles.

The second limited-edition swimsuit Nikke revealed is 'Cinderella: Crystal Wave' (Swimsuit Cinderella). Like Swimsuit Marciana, she is an Iron-code Burst III Attacker, but she uses a machine gun. True to her 'Annihilation' archetype, she possesses skills specialized for dealing with multiple enemies.

As she belongs to the same category as last year's limited Pilgrim Nikke, 'Dorothy: Serendipity,' high firepower is expected from her.

This summer event begins as members of Mimir Academy, Old Tales, and Counters head out for a summer vacation. With the story hinting at Cinderella's group searching for Hansel and Gretel, it is expected to have significant ties to the main storyline. As it covers core Nikke lore and features various squads, this promises to be an important episode.

The event will be fully voiced and include dedicated fields, along with a special animation titled 'WAVE TO YOU' produced by A-1 Pictures. Additionally, a new mini-game, 'ISLAND BREAKER,' and a new boss, 'Island Eater,' were unveiled.

Four new Treasures that significantly boost a Nikke's firepower and performance were also announced. Once this update is applied, Treasures for 'Phantom,' 'Sugar,' 'Rosanna,' and 'Flora' will be added. Since Treasures can sometimes provide performance upgrades comparable to an alternate version or a rework, it will be worth keeping an eye on the options they provide.

The rerun of high-performance summer-limited Nikkes is also noteworthy. Reruns for Swimsuit Dorothy and Elegg: Boom & Shock will be held. In particular, Swimsuit Dorothy is considered a 'must-have' Nikke, as she is indispensable for Water-code and shotgun teams.

Various other updates are also planned, including the return of six limited summer costumes, a new season for the Solo Raid Museum, and the addition of new rhythm game tracks.
