Kakao Games announced on the 23rd that the MMORPG 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' (hereinafter 'Odin'), serviced by Kakao Games and developed by Lionheart Studio, will celebrate its 5th anniversary on June 24.

Since its launch in 2021, Odin has maintained a strong presence in the domestic MMORPG market through consistent content updates and user-centric operations. In particular, it has laid the foundation for long-term service by continuously introducing new combat experiences and growth elements to meet changing user needs, while maintaining steady operations and various user engagement programs.

To mark the 5th anniversary, Kakao Games began its official campaign on the 10th by opening pre-registrations for the update and releasing two teaser videos. The 5th-anniversary update will feature a variety of content and events, including the new 'Alchemist' class, the new 'World Base Occupation' content, and the new 'Skadi' server. These additions aim to further strengthen the unique advantages Odin has built with its users over the past five years and ensure its continued competitiveness.

The secret to Odin's long-term popularity lies in its continuous content updates. Throughout its service, the game has consistently introduced new classes and large-scale combat content, adding fresh dynamics to the gameplay.

Following the introduction of the Priest's new 'Sacrifice' class in last year's 4th-anniversary update, Odin is adding the 'Alchemist'—the fourth class for the Sorceress—for the first time in about two years. The Alchemist is expected to offer a differentiated play experience based on a unique combat style using reagent rods and vials.

Large-scale combat content is also being expanded. After introducing the guild-based PVP 'Server Invasion' content last year, Odin is adding 'World Base Occupation,' a new inter-server content, in this 5th-anniversary update.
