NEXUS announced on the 23rd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Taiwanese game studio Mustaverse to onboard the Web3 social trading card game (TCG) 'Aurayale' onto its CROSS platform.

Through this partnership, the two companies will integrate Aurayale into the CROSS ecosystem and collaborate to expand the Web3 gaming user base in the global market.

Aurayale is a blockchain-based social card game featuring NFT collectible cards, strategic card battles, and player-to-player trading and upgrades. By combining the traditional TCG appeal of collecting cards and building decks with blockchain-based asset ownership and trading, the game is designed to allow users to trade assets earned in-game and grow their value.

Aurayale has been gaining significant market attention by standing out on the global stage. It placed 4th out of over 1k projects at the 2025 Bybit Unleashed Hackathon and won first place among 400 projects at the Ethereum Global Taipei Hackathon. It has also built its reputation by participating in major global events such as PG Connects Finland, Taipei Blockchain Week, and Start Sphere.

Furthermore, the project has solidified its business foundation by establishing partnerships with key players in the global Web3 ecosystem, including Immutable, Kaia, and the Web3 X Accelerator.

With this agreement, NEXUS plans to expand the CROSS gaming ecosystem into the global market and continuously broaden its lineup of competitive Web3 games.

Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of NEXUS, stated that Aurayale is a Web3 card game with solid gameplay and proven competitiveness on the global stage. He added that by adding high-quality games of various genres to the CROSS ecosystem, the company aims to provide users with more entertainment while offering developers a broader global platform.

Meanwhile, following NEXUS' acquisition of the app market ONE store, the company plans to rename the on-chain game platform CROSS' mainnet to 'OneChain' and its native token $CROSS to '$ONE'.
