kt Rolster secured a spot in the Legend Group after defeating Hanwha Life Esports 2-1 in their 2026 LCK regular season Round 2 match, held at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 17th. The performance not only avenged their loss from the first round but also dispelled recent concerns regarding the team's inconsistent form.

The following is the full interview with Moon 'Cuzz' Woo-chan, who was named Player of the Match (POM).

Q. You ended Hanwha Life's winning streak and secured a spot in the Legend Group with today's win. How do you feel?

'Cuzz' = I really wanted to secure our spot in the Legend Group, so I'm doubly happy to have done it by beating a strong team like Hanwha Life. However, just because we've reached the Legend Group doesn't mean we're going to get complacent.

Q. What did you focus on preparing for Hanwha Life to avenge your first-round loss?

'Cuzz' = Hanwha Life is a team that excels at both top-side play and bottom-lane-focused strategies. They are a well-rounded team, especially with 'Kanavi' Seo Jin-hyeok being so aggressive. I decided it was more important to play to our own strengths rather than trying to counter them, so we focused on playing through the bottom lane in this match.

Q. In Game 1, 'Perfect' Lee Seung-min brought out his undefeated pick, Jayce, and successfully seized the initiative.

'Cuzz' = As someone who has played jungle Jayce, I know he's a difficult champion despite his excellent teamfight performance. But 'Perfect' Lee Seung-min handled him really well. We all celebrated his birthday before the match, and maybe that good energy helped things go smoothly.

Q. You unfortunately lost the second game. What do you think was the cause of the defeat.

'Cuzz' = We intended to play through the bottom lane, but when Pyke was picked, we couldn't properly handle the strength of Ryze and Lee Sin on the top side. We'll need to analyze that more thoroughly after this.

Q. You brought out Skarner for the first time this season in Game 3. How was it playing against Nocturne?

'Cuzz' = Skarner is a very high-performance champion these days. I saw that 'Canyon' Kim Geon-bu has been undefeated on him, and I tried him out in practice, and there were so many times I thought, 'Why isn't this dying?' I liked those advantages, so we prepared him for today. He's so strong that I intend to keep picking him in the future.

Q. The opponent drafted a strong early-game composition with Draven and Milio, but you broke that dynamic with an early gank.

'Cuzz' = It was a match where both teams had to pay a lot of attention to the bottom lane. Since the enemy Nocturne was playing aggressively, I wanted to keep an eye on the bottom lane as well. As I was trying to enter the enemy jungle, I noticed their bottom duo was pushing hard. We had practiced how to handle this situation, so I immediately looked for an opening and attempted a level-2 gank from behind, which paid off.

Q. Your pathing at that moment was excellent.

'Cuzz' = Ideally, I wanted to enter the enemy blue side and clear their camps. But if the enemy bottom lane pushed hard, there was a risk they could rotate to help first. So, I pivoted to harass the aggressive enemy bottom duo instead. Our bottom duo responded well at a crucial moment and calculated the damage perfectly, which is why it was successful.

Q. You started well with the bottom lane advantage, but a mid-game mishap allowed them to catch up. Did you feel any danger in-game?

'Cuzz' = Fortunately, we had built up a significant lead early on, so I felt that even if we made mistakes or lost a teamfight, we still had opportunities. I felt we were ahead, so I played comfortably.

Q. 'Wei'' Han Gil came to watch the match in person, got an autograph, and cheered for you. He seems to have been a 'victory fairy'—did that give you strength?

'Cuzz' = I signed an autograph for him since he came to the arena. Actually, he even visited our team house yesterday and brought us snacks like donuts. The good energy he shared with us was a huge help during the match. I want to say thank you to him.

Q. You have matches against Nongshim RedForce and Gen.G coming up next week. What is your resolve for continuing the race for the top spots?

'Cuzz' = As I mentioned earlier, we've already secured our spot in the Legend Group, but I will do my best to win all of our remaining matches.
