The online FPS game 'Sudden Attack' announced that it is taking intensive measures to foster a fair gaming environment, including launching investigations into users of illegal programs.

Having implemented various measures such as the 'Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC)' system, strengthened security authentication, and a separated matching pool policy, 'Sudden Attack' aims to raise awareness against activities that disrupt normal gameplay. The company plans to continue its efforts by combining enhanced security measures with legal action.

On the 25th, 'Sudden Attack' announced that it is currently pursuing legal action against users suspected of obstructing business operations and violating the Information and Communications Network Act by using illegal programs to disrupt normal game services and operations. 'Sudden Attack' plans to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation and will consider further measures based on the results. Having consistently taken legal action against the creators and distributors of illegal programs, the game developer made it clear through this latest move that users of such programs may also be subject to legal consequences.

Recently, the game has also further strengthened its security authentication policies. It has upgraded the jury authentication process for the 'Guillotine System,' where users identify suspected cheaters, and raised security standards by expanding the secondary authentication requirement—previously limited to top-tier ranked matches—to include the 'Gold' tier.

The matching pool separation policy, already in effect for ranked matches, has been extended to survival modes to separate suspected unauthorized program users from regular players, ensuring a more pleasant gaming environment. To counter attempts to bypass sanctions by deleting and recreating accounts, the company has also implemented an operational policy that applies existing sanctions to new accounts linked to the same user.

Meanwhile, in April of last year, the game strengthened its ability to detect unauthorized software by officially implementing the global security solution 'Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC).' As an external security solution proven effective in various games worldwide, 'EAC' is being operated alongside 'Nexon Game Security,' the game's proprietary security system, to establish a more precise and rapid response framework.

A Nexon representative stated, "Protecting the gaming environment for users who play fairly is the top priority for 'Sudden Attack' operations," adding, "We will continue to do our utmost to create a fair gaming environment by combining security enhancements with legal action, including this ongoing investigation."
