Smilegate announced on the 24th that Lost Ark, its flagship MMORPG, has opened pre-registration for the new 'Dimension Shifter' class and is launching a massive summer event packed with content.

The new class, Dimension Shifter, which was unveiled during the '2026 LOA ON SUMMER' update preview on the 20th, is now open for pre-registration. The pre-registration period runs from June 24 to July 8, and participants will receive a limited-edition weapon avatar and a completionist title as a reward. The Dimension Shifter is the first class in Lost Ark based on the male Yoz race. It uses illusion magic to traverse space and time, wielding the hour and minute hands of a dimensional clock as weapons to defeat enemies.

The update also introduces an expansion to the existing single-player mode and a new matchmaking mode for adventurers who prefer to enjoy end-game content casually. The single-player mode has been expanded to include Kazeros Acts 4 through the finale, offering more options for those who prefer solo raiding. The new matchmaking mode will be applied starting with the current end-game content, the Shadow Raid 'Serka.' Notably, the matchmaking mode provides the experience of a real party play while significantly enhancing convenience features, such as unlimited resurrections, various buffs, and real-time difficulty adjustments.

Meanwhile, the massive summer event kicks off with the 'Mokoko Base Camp' event, which supports rapid character growth. Previously known as 'Mokoko Express,' the event returns this year with a new name and format. Starting June 24, players can use a Jumping Ticket to instantly boost a character to Item Level 1660. Once the Mokoko Base Camp event begins, players—especially new and returning adventurers—can access the 'Fantasy Book' and 'Warming Up' programs.

The Fantasy Book event allows for a quick experience of the main story and basic growth, followed by the Warming Up program, which facilitates rapid progression up to Item Level 1700. The Warming Up program consists of four stages, with core growth elements—such as exclusive equipment, Arc Passive, Arc Grid Cores, and Gems—provided and equipped immediately at each stage. Afterward, additional character growth support is provided up to Item Level 1720 through 'Jump Up Boost' missions.

The game also introduces 'Maharaka Summer Camp,' an event island with a summer festival theme. Players can earn 'Maharaka Postcards' by enjoying various minigames scattered across the island, which can then be exchanged for a variety of rewards. The island also features functional NPCs and other convenience features to help players fully enjoy the summer festival atmosphere.

In the 'Waggle-Waggle Water Festival,' players can enjoy the 'Run Koni' minigame and receive various random rewards. Adventurers participate in racing as a team, transforming into Koni to navigate through traps on various tracks to reach the finish line. The 'Summer Lucky Jackpot Random Chest,' which can be obtained by opening a certain number of 'Summer Lucky Random Chests' (the completion reward), contains special gifts such as a Legendary Card Selection Pack and a Radiant Chaos Stone.

A 'Drops' event will also be held in collaboration with Naver's streaming service, Chzzk. By linking their Lost Ark account with Chzzk and watching live broadcasts in the Lost Ark category with Drops enabled, players can earn rewards in their inventory based on cumulative watch time. In particular, adventurers who claim a Drops reward at least once during the event period will be entered into a raffle for chicken set coupons. The event runs from June 24 to 6:00 AM on July 22.

Additionally, the '2026 Summer Internet Cafe PARTY TIME' event will provide various growth resources based on cumulative login time until September 2. Players who reach 100 hours will receive a '26 Internet Cafe Avatar Selection Chest,' a 'Neon Gaming Chair Mount Chest,' and a 'Nickname Koni Pet Selection Chest.' Various items will also be gifted through daily mission roulette events and attendance events.
