Konami has released a unique collaboration trailer featuring 'eFootball' and 'Naruto Shippuden.'

Starting April 30, this collaboration will feature world-class players such as Neymar Jr., Luka Modrić, Robert Lewandowski, and Martin Ødegaard dressed in ninja attire. The trailer itself recreates iconic scenes from Naruto, featuring visuals that are sure to catch the eye of any football fan, not just those who play eFootball.

In the collaboration video, Neymar takes on the role of Naruto Uzumaki, while Kubo plays Sasuke, Lewandowski is Kakashi, Ødegaard is Shikamaru, and Modrić portrays Itachi. Highlights include Neymar kicking a Rasenshuriken and firing a Rasengan alongside Naruto, as well as glimpses of the Sharingan used by Lewandowski and Modrić.

This collaboration does not turn the game into an action title where players use these techniques to physically attack opponents. Instead, using collaboration cards triggers special visual effects for moves like the Rasenshuriken or Chidori. Additionally, goal celebrations will feature anime-inspired animations to bring a unique flair to the pitch.

eFootball has previously collaborated with football-themed works like Blue Lock and Captain Tsubasa. However, its 2025 Yu-Gi-Oh! collaboration proved that there are no limits to the game's partnerships. Neymar, who appears as Naruto in this event, also made headlines during the Yu-Gi-Oh! collaboration by appearing in a Dark Magician costume. Neymar is known for his affinity for Japanese pop culture, even sporting a tattoo of Dragon Ball's Son Goku on his waist.
