The '2026 FC Online Team Battle' Spring Losers' Final between kt Rolster and T1 took place at the Jamsil DN Coliseum on the 19th. T1 secured a 3-1 victory, earning their spot in the Grand Finals to face Gencity.
In the first set, T1's 'Navy' Kim Yu-min and kt Rolster's 'TK777' Lee Tae-kyung led off. 'Navy' scored an early goal right after kickoff, perfectly exploiting a gap on the side of the net. 'TK777', who had been building up attacking pressure, managed to equalize with a header in stoppage time. The two traded goals in the second half, but just before the final whistle, 'Navy' broke through 'TK777's solid defense to score a buzzer-beater and win the first set.
The second set featured T1's 'Byeol' Park Ki-hong and kt Rolster's 'JM' Kim Jung-min. 'Byeol' started strong, but 'JM' showed impressive resilience. After conceding the first goal, 'JM' equalized with a central breakthrough by Kylian Mbappé and then skillfully bypassed 'Byeol's defense to take the lead. Although 'Byeol' managed to pull one back, 'JM' secured the second set for kt Rolster with a dramatic buzzer-beater.
The third set saw a clash between the teams' aces: T1's 'Hoseok' Choi Ho-seok and kt Rolster's 'Uta' Lee Ji-hwan. 'Hoseok' took the initiative with an opening goal from Cristiano Ronaldo, but 'Uta' quickly equalized with his signature fast-paced play. 'Hoseok' pulled ahead again, ending the first half 2-1 with an acrobatic goal from Ronaldo.
The second half also belonged to 'Hoseok'. He scored a third goal with a far-post finish following a dribble by Luis Figo. 'Uta' capitalized on a solo chance for Mbappé to narrow the gap to 2-3, but that was as close as he would get. With 'Hoseok's victory, T1 reached match point with a set score of 2-1.
In the fourth set, 'Dike' Kang Mu-jin appeared as a relief pitcher for kt Rolster, facing T1's 'Opel' Kang Jun-ho. Unlike the previous sets, this one was a quiet affair. No goals were scored throughout regulation, and the match went into extra time. With the game still scoreless deep into extra time, 'Opel' capitalized on a final attacking opportunity to score a buzzer-beater, sending T1 to the Grand Finals.
